Designated School Drop-off and Pick-up Times
Drop Off/Pick Up:
Last names A-I: Drop off at 8:10-8:20, pick up 2:45-2:55 (1:45-1:55 Wednesdays)
Last names J-Q: Drop off at 8:20-8:30, pick up 2:55-3:05 (1:55 – 2:05 Wednesdays)
Last names R-Z (and am/pm preschool families): Drop off 8:30-8:40, pick up at 3:05-3:15 (2:05-2:15 Wednesdays)
Screening Attestation: Ticket is linked here and is also available on our website under the COVID-19 tab. Each day, as students arrive on campus, they will be required to present this completed ticket to a staff member at the door as they arrive. Students must be screened at home prior to arriving at school (including a temperature check at home), though an additional temperature check will occur at the door when the ticket is presented.
Changing from Remote to In Person (or in person to remote): We ask you to provide at least a week’s notice to your homeroom teacher if you are choosing to change from one modality to another. However, if your child is sick on any given day, he/she may join remotely from home if you would like for him/her to.
Sick Policy: We are following a very strict sick policy this year, which is linked here. Questions can be directed to the office at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please report any absences due to illness to BOTH the homeroom teacher and the office as soon as possible. The office is also closely tracking all sick students and will work with you on when your student may return for in person instruction depending on your individual situation. If you have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in your family, this must be reported to the office as soon as possible- email@example.com or COVID@holyrosaryws.org.
After School: There will be no before/after school care offered at this time so we can protect the cohort groups. If your family previously attended our Essential Workers camp, please contact Kristin Bentler in the office to discuss options if you need support on Fridays, after school, or on the weeks your child is not attending for in person instruction. All students must be picked up promptly during their pick up window to avoid crowding on campus. The big toy and playground are unfortunately not open after school at this time.
Future Drop Off / Pick Up days: For remote learners, scheduled pick up days are Fridays from 8am – 4pm, however, the office is available to distribute items to remote learners Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm. We will continue to notify you and our students when there are materials to pick up.
Lunch: There is no hot lunch or milk service offered at this time. Students attending in person should bring a lunch and a clean mask in their lunchbox to wear after lunch.
Recess: As we work to cohort students all day long, this includes cohorting students on the playground for recess. At this time, younger grades are out at recess from 9:30 – 2:30 each day, and PE is taught outside on the lower playground as well. Therefore, we are getting creative! Students in grades 5-8 will have the opportunity to go for a short walk in the neighborhood with their homeroom teacher after lunch each day, to get some fresh air and take a stretch break. Students must have a permission slip on file with the office when your child returns for in person instruction. For those students returning later, please contact your student’s homeroom teacher for a copy of the referenced permission slip to complete.
