Principal’s Message

Dear Holy Rosary families,

I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing snow day this week! It was a fun way to start the week!

On Monday, February 13th, our 5th – 8th grade students have been invited to Seattle Lutheran HS (right next door to us) to hear Josh Gunderson, an educational speaker that focuses on Digital Citizenship. He was brought to town by Hope Lutheran School and Seattle Lutheran High School, and they have invited our students to attend as a community event. The speaker will present from 1:25 – 2:45. While this will be open to 5th – 8th grade at this time (we will take all of our 5th – 8th grade students), I am including some of his resources here. He provides some valuable information on online safety, ways to speak to your children about making safe choices online, social media, and the changing online world. I encourage you to check it out.

THANK YOU FROM HOLY ROSARY YOUTH MINISTRY – Holy Rosary’s Youth Group would like to thank all the parishioners who supported the Sub Sandwich fundraiser for Super Bowl Sunday! We made 49 pre-sale sandwiches and sold more during the pick-up on Sunday! Thanks, too, to the parishioners who donated financially to our ministry and to Dream Dinners, which provided some of our preparation items.

We also wanted to thank all the youth and parents who came out and helped us prepare the sub sandwiches! Awesome job, everyone!

GOLDEN OUTREACH 2017 – Back by popular demand, we will be honoring Holy Rosary parishioners over age 80 on March 4, 2017. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here. Shoulder-to-Shoulder is a parish ministry of parishioners helping parishioners.
