Happy Catholic Schools Week. I appreciate our parents, I appreciate our students and I appreciate the staff. We kicked off the week with Mass on Sunday and an Open House immediately following it. At the Mass we recognized our Distinguished Alumni, Marianne McGah.
Congratulations to our 2016 Distinguished Alumni, Marianne McGah! Marianne attended Holy Rosary School with her siblings, Kindergarten through 8th grade. Many of you may know her parents, Joseph and Sue Harris. Following Holy Rosary, Marianne excelled while attending Holy Names Academy for high school. She attended the University of Portland, graduating with a degree in Theology. Then continued her studies at Providence College, earning her Masters in Education. Marianne returned to the Pacific Northwest to attend Seattle University where she received her Doctorate in Education. Currently, Marianne is the Religion Teacher at Holy Names Academy and Assistant Campus Minister. Marianne is a board member for Shirts Across America, which provide young people experiences to become leaders as they build homes in communities affected by poverty and natural disasters. Holy Rosary School is honored to celebrate Marianne McGah as our 2016 Distinguished Alumni!
