BASE Information

BASE CALENDARS – As BASE is growing, so is our commitment for improving our practices and providing the best service we can for our wonderful families. We now have the monthly calendars on-line through May. Along with the monthly calendars, our goal is to have a yearly calendar, similar to the school calendar, for the 2016-17 school year.

Regarding the monthly calendars:

  • It is important for every family to turn in a monthly calendar, even if you are under contract.
  • The safety of the children who attend BASE is our top priority. To account for your child/children at all times during our hours of operation, the following information is needed:
    • Days your child/children are attending.
    • Will they be out of town?
    • Are they involved in an on campus activity such as dance, chess, band or a sports practice? If it takes them out of BASE for a while, please indicate that on your calendar including the time of the activity.

February calendar – Please indicate on the calendar if you need care for the following: Mid-winter break is covered under the five-day contract. Other registered BASE families needing care will be charged $54.00 per day per child. Because Kindergarten classes will not be in session on Friday, February 19th, due to Kindergarten testing for new students, BASE will be open all day in the gym for registered Kindergarten families needing care. Five-day contract families will not be charged; all others will be $54.00 per child for the day.

Thank you everyone for your calendar participation!

We’ve had a wonderful response and expect to have a strong start to the ski school season for the 2017 season. Unfortunately the ski swap won’t happen this year, but we will plan to hold one in late November. In the meantime, we will need to arrange busses, recruit volunteers and arrange with Snoqualmie for instructors.  If you have expertise, time or both, please contact us at your earliest convenience.  Lisa Quinn at

PLEASE READ – HOLY ROSARY PARISH SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL STUDY – Holy Rosary Parish has been selected to participate in a national study of vibrant parishes conducted by the Catholic Leadership Institute!  Please help us participate by completing a 10-15 minute survey online. The survey will be available through Ash Wednesday, February 10 and will ask you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and enable you to provide feedback on what efforts the parish is doing to help you grow. All responses will be confidential and the parish will only receive information about the community as whole. The survey is available here.

We are trying to get the highest response rate possible. This information will be invaluable to Fr. Oakland and our various ministries as we plan ahead and try to be the best disciples we can be. We will receive the results this summer at which time we will share what we have learned with the entire parish.

There will also be opportunities to complete the survey after daily and Sunday Mass. Paper copies will be available at the doors of the church, the Parish Office or the School Office.

Thank you for helping with this important project!
