PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Dear Holy Rosary Families,
Happy Fall!
This morning, we had the wonderful experience of being able to celebrate Mass with our third and fourth grade students in person. Our fourth graders received their new Bibles, a special tradition for students on their faith journey through our school. Father Oakland blessed their Bibles at Mass and reminded students that these Bibles are one way to always stay connected with Jesus.
This afternoon, I spent some time visiting classrooms. It feels as if we’re finally in the full swing of things, with kids engaging in much of the “normal” school business throughout the day. I do recognize that we’re living in a time that is far from normal, but it was lovely to just walk around to hear and see many of the usual school sights and sounds. It’s such a joy to have your children here!
A few hiring updates: We will be hiring a long term substitute in music in the near future, as Ms. Mudge is currently taking a leave. Please hold her in prayer. We are also hiring for an Instructional Aid in the grade school (likely 5 days/week), and will also be filling a leave position in 4th grade in the near future for Mrs. Benson. The parish also has a number of open positions which are available on their website. If you or someone you know may be interested, please reach out to me!
As we roll into October, things will continue to be busy. But for now, I’m taking the moment to savor a wonderful Wednesday with your children in our school. Thank you for your commitment and support each and every day.
In Christ,
Anna
